To become eligible for the NASA internships, interested candidates must abide by the following requirements:
#1 For NASA International Internship Programs:
Applicants must be USA citizens enrolled in the Undergraduate or Graduate degree, belong to the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics), and be linked to the topic related to the NASA mission. Moreover, interested applicants must have good communication skills in English with good academic performance.
#2 For NASA Pathways Internships:
Applicants must be USA citizens at the age of 16 years minimum or above and enrolled in the accredited institution for half-time or full-time in any degree program or certificate with a minimum 2.90 GPA. Other than this, the applicant must be able to do work for at least 460 hours before completing the degree program and will sign a Pathways Participant Agreement. Additionally, the male applicants must be certified and registered with the Selective Service System. That is a particular requirement for males born after December 31, 1959. Also, the interns only apply for vacancies that match the closing date of at least the last two semesters.
#3 For NASA Internships:
All students with USA citizenship and a 3.0 CGPA enrolled as full-time students with the age of 16 years minimum are eligible to apply for the NASA Internships. Similarly, undergraduates and graduate students pursuing a full-time degree program at any accredited university can also apply.
